Oud Ishaq is a paradox. It is actually an oil crafted from wild agarwood sourced from the Chanthaburi province that borders Cambodia and is not that far from the famed Koh Kong province in Cambodia. It is a Thai oil, but smells and behaves like a Koh Kong Cambodi.
Although distilled relatively recently compared to the original Thaqeel, it smells as if it had been distilled before the Thaqeel, placed in a time-machine and brought forward a few decades to the present for us to enjoy an authentic experience of a classic thick Oud, with the red aroma pulsating and revealing spice, musk and ambergris blended in a seamless fusion to mimic the finest perfume. You get none of that aged ancient and sombre quality that you do from oud oils such as the original Thaqeel or Oud Royale 85. Instead you experience an oud oil that is full of life and has no plans for settling down just yet.
Origin: Chanthaburi, Thailand
